so yeah pretty muuch everything that could've gone wrong on this trip did go wrong and it was complete bullshit. GD drumline and all the rest of the asshole people that made this trip shit to go on. at least the game was kinda fun but that mostly because of the 55 MPH WINDS WITH GUTS OF OVER 60!!!! man that shit was so hard to march in too. but it was really fun. we ended up lossing 21-19 i didn't think that it was a very bad game since we couldn't really pass or anything cause of the wind. it was so funny cause when they would kick the ball it would go like 10 yards and then just drop and go backwards. kansas and oklahoma sucks o much ass. at least the parts that we went to. the only good thing were the pretty trees there but not the dead ass grass or the rude people there. at least they were rude on southern acounts like i went up to the band and said hey and everything like a good southern person would do and all they did was stare at me like i was all wierd and shit. well screw there 27 member band. but yeah this next part is from stephanie's journal. i didn't feel like repeating it. so if it says ours it's not me. ok.

"Get back to the room--that's when the shit hit the fan...again. Dueitt came in and said bullshit about he had problems with some people wearing shirts to insult someone of the team (when 2 of the people were in the room... he wasn't slick with that.) People kept walking by, trying to get the scoop on what was happening in the room. The fucker left, then people kept running down the hallway and just being fucking stupid. The drummers were "antique-ing" peoples room or just, people. If you didn't know, that means they just threw flour on people. So, that happened. Someone not in the band got hit in the middle of an antiquing shit... called the cops. A band manager pissed in the ice machine. Someone threw coffee in someone elses room... shit was everywhere. We had room damages. DRAMA. Then, the game. It was the middle of the 1st quarter and it started fucking raining. Fatima, Stacy, Michael Hutton, and myself had to run to the busses and get out cases. Then, the whole band went to the bus... but our bus wasn't there. We kept running back and forth from the stands to the busses. Eventually the rain got so bad that we just hung out on the bus for like, 15 minutes. The wind was so bad. The halftime show was fun... only because we were laughing the whole time because the wind kept knocking hats off, Rob fell and mooned the crowd, we kept having to brace ourselves because the wind was so bad. The way back was fucking ridiculous. We ate after the game... that was the last time we had anything to drink for 10 FUCKING HOURS. No water was on our bus. We kept telling Mr. Whittington we didn't have water..... and all the other busses did. Nobody fucking cared. The busses stopped at 10pm, 2am, 4am... the band couldn't get off. The bus drivers got coffee every time, and switched a few times. I've never been that pissed before. Especially because at 10pm, they said we'd be able to get off the bus in 4 hours. But no. Finally, at 7am, we were able to get off of the bus."

those bus drivers were complete dicks to, at least to me they were cause god forbid if my knee even touched their sit. and shit like that. they kept lookin at me all crazy and shit and would be like "can you remove your feet/knee." and more shit that i just don't feel like typin that much but just trust me they were rude as shit. well i guess that's it for me. later.

well today my eng class(all i have on tuesdays) last all of about 10 min. man i could be home right now and have been home for like 5 hours or so if not for band even though the whole EFFING campus shuts down at 3 duett wants to have practice and we're gonna have to bring all of our shit to the band hall to cause the dorms are gonna close down at 3 to. well i got my research paper due on dec. 1, that sucks guess i gotta due it sometime soon. o well. later folks.

that game was bullshit and so were those refs out there to. but o well caue our team didn't want in the end i guess cause the definetly gave up after like prc's first touchdown in the 1st. only a few people on our team were actually trying to and that was gay. and we couldn't play any good songs. just the same stupid cheers over and over again. but tonight there will be much rejoicing with HP and alchol hopefully.

so the power went off last night at like 12 cause the sub station for the power caught on fire and the whole campus was without power till like 11 this morning. it was sweet though cause we didn't have classes then but we had our pep ralley that the team didn't even show up for just the band (like 30 of us, band nerds), the perkettes, and the cheerleaders and like 10 other people. it sucked and so we didn't have band todayd either, it was a sweet ass day today. then we signed up for buses and hotel rooms for the bowl game. and bitched around all day. damn it was a good ass day. well that's it for me. i'm gonna go to sleep now. later bitches.

so now we've evidentally been invited to a bowl game in california to. that be badass to go to but it would take about 2 whole days of straight driving to get there with no stops. but since the drivers can only drive 10 straight hours it would take about 5 days to get to the game itself. well that's about it for me.

10. Our rivalries are bigger than the ones between football teams.

9. Unless you're a drummer, it's pretty much taboo to date outside of the band.

7. Bus rides are full of completely amusing antics that usually involve people who have consumed more sugar than they ought to.

so we beat that itawamba ass tonight 69-45 thought it should have been much lower. but like always the football team sucked in the 3rd quarter when the band asn't playin, they got like 20 something points back during it to. bastards. but we still beat though so o well. that game was long as hell though, and we got some HARD ass hits on them bitches and even took em out the game. so since we won and pearl river won. we play PRC here next saturday for state champions; and since we won tonight we get to go the bowl game. we were invited to the one in Utah and Georgia but a lot of teams are going to the georgia one so we prob. will go to the UT one is what i heard, 5 day trip bitch. 2 days to get there with a stop over in a hotel. but the college is gonna pay for it all. badass and we might not have a christmas concert now cause of the bowl game but i heard tell that they were thinking about reschudling it so that we could have it. doesn't really bother be either way. i finished Eldest tonight. badass book actually, can't wait till the last one comes out. now i can reread GoF if i can get it done before next saturday. probably won't though but o well. i remember enough of it and what i don't get finished with i'll just read after the movie. man i can't wait till we go on sat. to see it.

well we had tryouts today. guess what chair i made out of 7 euphoniums.....2ND!!!! yay for me. luckily we had no scales to do cept or Bb 2 octaves that's on the sheet we had to play. yeah i thought that i did good but i was quite proud of myself actually. well today we learned that if we win the football game this saturday the college is gonna pay for the band to go to the bowl game that we're goin to (since it's been almost 20 years since that's happend) but they could be in iowa, georgia, texas, colorado, arizona and some other state also i think. but yeah, anyways that's one long ass bus ride if do. but i hope we do though cause it'd be really fun to go to the game though. but anywas i'm gonna go to sleep now. later.

ps. we watched charlie and the chocolate factory tonight, it was really funny. and last night and part of it tonight again we watched Bondock Saints which is a really badass movie and i recommend it to anyone actually. i also didn't go to my eng class today cause i didn't feel like that's why bitch.

we went to theodore, al for an exibition today. man, we were loud as hell, specially when we play "Just a Gigolo" at the end as a tag, man that crowd loved that shit. well. i'm tired, watched "we were soliders." good movie. well that's about it really. so i guess i won't do a better update tomorrow, o well. later.
